From the Owner: A Note from Kat Bloom

Hi friends,

This past year has been one of the most intense and beautiful chapters of my life. While I spent much of that time behind the scenes—working, building, learning, and listening—I realized I haven’t let you into my story. I want to share not just the business plans or big ideas, but the heart behind it all. So here it goes.

My Journey in Music

My name is Kat Bloom. Before becoming a studio owner, producer, or nonprofit founder, I was just a kid with a guitar and a whole lot of feelings. Music was my first safe space. It was where I felt seen and powerful all at once. I wrote songs to process the world around me. As I grew older, I realized how rare and sacred that outlet is. Not everyone has access to it. Not everyone is told their voice matters.

So, I built a place where artists could thrive.

Creating a Space for Artists

Vault Studios, Bloom Records, and The Media Lab were all born within the same wild year. Each serves a different purpose. Yet, they are connected by one mission: to create space for artists to thrive. Real space. Safe space. Space that isn’t based on your budget, background, or follower count. A space where your ideas are valued and your talent respected.

Vault Studios

Vault Studios is our heartbeat. It's a production house dedicated to high-end storytelling through sound, film, and visual effects. We focus on crafting quality content that resonates with audiences everywhere.

Bloom Records

Bloom Records is our love letter to musicians. It’s for those carving out their own path and searching for more than just a playlist placement. Here, musicians find guidance and support to navigate the industry.

The Media Lab

The Media Lab is our 501c3 initiative. It’s how we give back, teaching young people, new voices, and underserved creatives how to navigate this challenging industry with real tools, support, and mentorship. We believe in empowering the next generation of artists.

Creativity as a Survival Mechanism

I’ve always believed that creativity isn’t just a skill; it’s a survival mechanism. It helps many of us make sense of chaos, find our community, and build a better world. Over the last year, I have poured my heart into creating the kind of place I wish I had when I was starting out.

I have met many of you along the way—visionaries, fighters, late-night creators, and dreamers who refuse to quit. Your passion fuels our mission, and it inspires us every day.
